Varolii Named One of Washington State's 100 Best Companies to Work For

Seattle Business Magazine Honors Varolii in Annual List for the Third Consecutive Year

SEATTLE—July 14, 2010— Varolii Corporation, a leader in proactive outbound communications, has been named by Seattle Business magazine as one of Washington’s 100 Best Companies to Work For. Varolii was listed at No. 20 in the midsize company category, marking the third year in a row Varolii has been recognized with this honor.

"Varolii has consistently strived to foster a positive culture and work environment that values our people and their contributions," said Nicholas Tiliacos, president and CEO at Varolii. "Against the backdrop of our nation’s economic uncertainties, it is particularly gratifying to win the award again this year.  We are thrilled to be honored by Seattle Business magazine as a great place to work."

Seattle Business magazine recognizes Washington companies that set standards for leadership, employee benefits, work environment, innovative training programs and employee satisfaction. Companies on the list achieved their ranking based on the results of employee survey results on several workplace criteria, including: benefits packages, wages, non-traditional perks, company culture, overall fulfillment, and employee satisfaction.

Varolii’s inclusion as a Best Company to Work For is evidence of the company’s commitment to develop its human resources through improved communications, a cohesive culture and strong leadership, values that are core to developing a successful enterprise,” said Leslie Helm, editor of Seattle Business magazine.

Varolii builds and hosts software that enables companies to send automated communications to their customers and employees over the phone, through text messages or email.  These messages deliver personalized and valuable information so recipients can respond and take action at their convenience.  For example, airlines use Varolii to inform passengers of late or cancelled flights so they can rebook, banks alert their customers to potentially fraudulent credit card activity so they can confirm a purchase, and pharmacies notify patients that their prescriptions are running out so they can request a refill.  Many of the nation’s largest companies in the financial services, healthcare, transportation, telecommunications, utility and retail industries rely on Varolii to send millions of these messages every day.
