Furthermore they drive results for our clients by applying knowledge gained to applications that proactively reach out to the right customer at the optimal time, with the optimal options, over any communication device and channel. Varolii is seeking seasoned Solution Consultants with high-profile experience in CRM or ERP enterprise consulting to Fortune 500 companies familiar with the SaaS model. The candidates must have an entrepreneurial spirit. They pride themselves on their ability to adapt to a client’s changing needs and provide leadership, direction and focus to drive the design of scalable and extensible foundations that can host a suite of Customer Conversation solutions that will be built throughout the lifetime of the client relationship. The Solution Consultant understands the pressures and demands of mission critical initiatives and thrives in high intensity team environments with demanding deadlines and changing deliverables. Varolii is looking for a dynamic Solution Consultant (Full-Time Employee) to work with our clients early in the discovery process to explore the spectrum of data integration, data modeling and business rules required to deliver the desired results. The Consultant needs to possess a multi-dimensional mindset that primarily focuses on solving the business problem and also manages the technical scope of the solution to optimize the ROI of the solution. This position requires accountability for creating technical designs for complex systems integrations and business rules processing that are most often associated with medium to large enterprise customers. This position requires up to 50% travel in order to obtain an in-depth understanding of the client needs and client environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform onsite scoping projects with our clients to design a solution that will serve as a strong foundation for future Customer Conversation applications.
  • Formulate a plan based on the findings from the client scope and articulate the plan first to Varolii sales and then to the client.
  • Provide both high level estimates and detailed estimates for the client solution.
  • Create the data models and component-based designs for capturing and processing the events that initiate a Customer Conversation. The events can originate from multiple data sources (e.g. middleware, 3270, flat file) and the processing of data can involve processing business rules based on historical client interactions.
  • Review the complex designs with the Senior and Staff Engineers to ensure a cohesive and exhaustive architecture
  • Work in an ongoing manner with the implementation team and Varolii sales account team members to develop Best Practice methodologies and enhance the system of metrics to support the decisions.
  • Educate our clients on the Varolii established application metrics and tuning techniques.
  • Troubleshoot problems relating to Varolii application performance.

Requirements

  • Ability to drive the decision process with the client’s stakeholders towards the most appropriate path of incremental applications in the context of IT constraints and business rules specific to the nature of each client’s specific needs.
  • Ability to work with a driven direct sales force
  • Previous experience designing and developing enterprise-level CRM and/or ERP solutions
  • Previous experience working in a Unix, Java, and Relational Database environment
  • Must be local or willing to relocate to work onsite at Varolii’s Seattle Office

Experience

  • B.S. Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • 8+ years of experience with CRM and/or ERP implementations for Fortune 500 companies with focus on the back end where data modeling is emphasized.
