Professional Services group within Varolii develops high-end outbound notification applications. We focus on delivering results and value to our clients through custom and packaged solutions.

Responsibilities

• Working within a full project life cycleDebugging production issues
• Solving complex architectural problems through technology and design
• Continual performance analysis and tuning
• Developing integration solutions using multiple technologies
• ·Working closely with teams throughout the company including Sales, Project Managers, and Quality Assurance

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of Object Oriented Design
• Comfortable working directly with customers
• Self-motivated with aspiration to innovate
• Willingness to take ownership Java, Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, UNIX/Solaris, JBoss, Shell Scripting, XML

Experience

• B.S. in Computer Science or similar degree/experience
• One to three years programming skills in Java/C#/C++
• Database modeling a plus
